So, I'm taking some time off from CinSom, you guys. I'm going to see my folks this weekend (for the first time in a long while) but after that, I've got something else in mind. You see, back in January, when I told you all about THE BOOK, I was all geared up to knock the beast out. Well, it's been 6 months and my European horror movie book is still in its infancy. I've watched soooo many movies and done quite a bit of research for this thing but it just ain't where I want it to be yet. I found myself getting more and more frustrated about the state the book is in so I made a (probably rash) decision.
I'm using up nearly all of my vacation time to take an entire week off from work for NEHF. Starting on Memorial Day and ending on Friday or Saturday or something, I'm going to be living, breathing, eating, and pooping European horror movies released between 2000 and 2010. I don't expect to finish the thing but I hope to get a handle on the (GOD ONLY KNOWS how many) films I've already watched and the (SATAN ONLY KNOWS how many) ones I have yet to see. So I won't be back for a week and a half or more. I promise there will be some cool surprises and cool stuff in June. But yeah, wish me luck.
