Hello! This is the Doomed Show - Episode 300

Looks like we made it! I want to give a giant and overly long hug to my co-hosts Brad, Jeffrey, Simon, and Mark for sticking with me through the 15 years of Hello! This is the Doomed Show. For a show that's been around for as long as we have, we should have been on episode 3000 by now, but a milestone is a milestone... is a milestone. I am immensely proud of what we have done as a podcast, but more importantly, I am just so jazzed I get to hang out with these guys and talk about movies.

As for the listeners, I thank you from the bottom of my nightmare worldview. Big or small, our stats are always shocking to me. The fact that any of you have listened to even one episode is such a big deal. And heck, some of you out there have been listening since the old days. Wut? Why? Are y'all crazy!? But seriously, folks, thank you so much for being there. According to my files, I have like 10 or 12 episodes already recorded and more on the way. So, I guess it makes sense to keep on going!

Hello! This is the Doomed Show - The Chill Factor (1993)

Sometime near the end of 2022, I decided that I desperately needed a break from podcasting. Hello! This is the Doomed Show has been going strong since 2011 and I started getting an urge to quit, which was just crazy. Every aspect of the show except for getting to talk to my buds about movies was getting on my nerves. Making the artwork, promoting the show, scheduling the recordings, and especially editing was making me want to give it all up. Instead of pulling the plug, I just decided to take a freakin' break. I just knew that a year off would do the trick. So, during 2023, the show went quiet and I worked on Giallo Meltdown 2 and my music channel. But that was last year! And this is this year! Here is the new episode!

According to the way time works, the podcast I started with my pal Brad where we cover Euro-horror, giallo, slashers, and cult films has reached its tenth birthday. Please check out our special 10 Years of Doomed Show episode. It's pretty much a recording of our voices! I can't believe we've made it this far. I owe a debt I cannot ever hope to repay to the other co-hosts Nafa (RIP), Jeffrey, and Simon for wasting so many hours of their lives with me. Been Sickly

Hey gang. I've been out sick from the world lately but fear not, I am recovering. Nothing that a little laparoscopic surgery can't fix! The only thing I've accomplished lately is putting editing this new episode of the Doomed Show. Jeffrey and I talked at length about Monster Dog from 1984 and friend of the show, Markky Karloff, made a cameo appearance. The film stars Alice Cooper and is directed by Mr. Troll 2 himself, Claudio Fragasso. So yeah, it's crazy.
