We talk about The Bird with the Crystal Plumage and we talk about The Cat O' Nine Tails, directed by Dario Argento. Then the episode ends abruptly. What can I say? We were tired but the episode is pretty solid as we plow through our pages of notes. Our Four Flies on Grey Velvet episode is in the queue for upcoming shows so you'll just have to wait! Aw, don't cry.

An excellent episode gentlemen, entertaining and edifying as always. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Four Flies as it's my current favourite of the trilogy and last time I compiled a top ten it was my favourite giallo period. I don't think that's the case these days (heck, it's probably not even my favourite Argento giallo anymore) but it's a film I still regard very highly.
ReplyDeleteI've had Bird sat in my to re-watch pile for a good while now and listening to this will probably tip me over the edge, so to speak, in the next few days.
And needless to say I'll probably end up re-watching Cat while I'm at it, especially after hearing you both sing its praises. It's an Argento film I believe to be highly underrated myself but listening to this episode has given me even more to appreciate about it.
Roll on the Four Flies episode! Oh, and a Blu-Ray re-release of Bird would be nice if the home video Gods are listening! On that subject, did one of you say someone else apart from Arrow or Blue Underground has put it out or did I imagine that?
