Unseenly - Russell Mulcahy's Tale of the Mummy

I still have a big stack of zines for sale!

  1. Not familiar with this one (and now I definitely won't be rushing out to see it) but I thought Mulcahy’s 'Razorback' was pretty good, though I've only seen it once. My memory of it is somewhat hazy but I remember it was very visually striking and had some pretty tense set-pieces, so I'd say it's worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

  2. I would like to revisit Razorback. I totally forgot that he also directed Resident Evil: Extinction which I liked. For some reason, I am a big Resident Evil series fan.

  3. Haven't seen any of the 'Resident Evil' movies but I'm certainly willing to give them a chance. I know Paul W.S. Anderson gets a lot of flak from most critics (overly serious bandwagon jumpers that they are), to which I would offer a two word defence: 'Event Horizon'... Or did they forget that he directed that one? Plus, 'Mortal Kombat' is a total guilty pleasure of mine, maybe because it appeals to the ten-year-old in me that used to love video games.
