So Jeffrey and I recorded an episode of the podcast on Jess Franco's Faceless. It's no secret, we loved it. The episode has some great feedback in it too.
Check it out. Here, here, or here:
And my pal Tyler over at Apologize to the Podcast was kind enough to interview me on his show. We talk ALL KINDS OF MOVIES for a long time. It's just grand. Listen here for more me!
Glad you covered another Franco! It's one I haven't watched yet, so I skipped the main part of the show and saved it for later, but I had fun with the listeners' favorites and your least favorites lists! Some thoughts: I quite enjoyed Macumba Sexual! I thought it was one of his weirdest and strangely hypnotic films from that era. Also, I kinda liked Killer Barbys! Perhaps it was just my very, very low expectations and then finding myself not hating it (Killer Barbys vs. Dracula is another story...that would probably be my least favorite so far, along with Cannibals, and Sinister Eyes of Dr. Orloff, of course). Favorites would include Love Letters of a Portuguese Nun, The Diabolical Dr. Z and She Killed In Ecstasy.
ReplyDeleteAnd as I've said elsewhere already, the interview episode on Apologize To The Podcast was great, really enjoyed the talk. Well done!
And I think I haven't commented on the "new" intro song: Fantastic! It's always stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Pretty cool!
Cheers,
