@Justin - Supposedly this is indeed the tape where they mixed up the reels. I am going to review it special and compare it to the DVD version. I highly advise you to give this film another chance.

Cool. I wasn't a fan of this movie when I saw it (dodging projectiles). But now that I've finally *gotten* Fulci, I might have to revisit it.
