I grew up both a horror and baseball fan, and wow, has a knowledge of baseball helped me in life when it comes to bonding with people (particuarly men) I may otherwise have no common ground with (brother-in-law, coworkers, etc). And yes, you do kind of talk about sports and baseball in a very similar way. <br /><br />I don't know that everyone is cut out to be an actual sports fan. It takes a certain focus of energy that's hard to get if you just can't care about watching men run.
