I've been to see Rocky Horror in a theater a couple of times, and yeah the callbacks are pretty funny sometimes, but each time I kinda just wanted everyone to shut up so I could enjoy the damn movie. It's funny and clever enough on its own without the help of the audience.Ryan Clarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11962087298048295960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7132231001639302019.post-51026493573509561702010-03-27T12:01:38.287-04:002010-03-27T12:01:38.287-04:00Gotcha, duder. I made up that O'Brien quote to serve my own twisted purposes.

Wow, you summed up everything perfectly in your comment: 'The theater owners got tired of cleaning up the mess.' That's exactly how I feel about seeing Rocky Horror live.Richard of DMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15009346741909948722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7132231001639302019.post-58301289217660815222010-03-26T15:37:12.144-04:002010-03-26T15:37:12.144-04:00I remember reading so much about this one prior to...I remember reading so much about this one prior to actually seeing it. This old USA Network show called Night Flight used to have a special about it like every year which is where I was first exposed to it. I later bought the awesome 'Rocky Horror Picture Show Book' and then later the LP. I remember seeing ads for midnight showings for the film in the paper around this time, too. They eventually stopped doing them because the theater owners got tired of cleaning up the mess. Seeing it on VHS the first time was cool, though. My mom thought it was a rather stupid movie, but I thought it was fun to watch. I bought that 2 disc DVD edition from Fox later on after that. There's tons of extras in that one. The O'brien interview might be the one in there. I haven't seen it in years.venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.com
